Tomorrow will be 4 weeks since my c section and I still feel like I’m recovering. I’m still sore, washing my incision, etc. I feel like everyone else at this point is like “I’m feeling great!” Is anyone in the same boat as me?

I’m 6 weeks out and I still feel sore by the end of the day. This was my 2nd C-section and recovery was a lot better than my 1st. With my first I was still in a lot of pain at 4 weeks and didn’t feel healed until 8 weeks.

3.5 weeks and feeling the same. I keep reminding myself to take it easy… just a few more weeks and hopefully I will be back to normal.
It’s frustrating but we’re almost there!

me!! It’s been brutal. Can’t stand up no more than 15/20 minutes at a time before I start feeling weak/dizzy. I’m also 4 weeks pp.

I’m a little over a week out and definitely was crying when my husband got home from so much pain. I can’t take prescription pain meds because I’ll fall asleep and will not wake up to my baby. I pushed for 2 hours before an emergency C-section so they told me I would be extra sore. Laying down hurts, sitting hurts, walking hurts

@mares1999,
can you take ibuprofen and Tylenol? Those helped me a ton! I was also taking oxy the first week or so but I’m off of it now.

I’m 4 weeks pp and have an infection now and really hurt in that general area. It’s so much better overall but I also feel far from healed.

I’m 6 weeks PP and mostly good. My incision is still tender at times, and I’m a little sore above the incision every now and then. I’m back to most of my day-to-day activities though.

Sometimes I feel completely fine, but then other times I get so sore. Getting up from sitting still bothers me sometimes and when I wear my son in a wrap I sometimes feel sore afterward. I’m thankful I can at least take care of my son now and I’m not really in “pain,” but I’m so over the discomfort and just want to return to “normal”

I’m 5 weeks pp and this is my second c section/ baby.
Everywhere from my belly button down to my scar is incredibly tender and sore. I don’t remember being this sore with my first

@bbquinn,
This is how I feel! And I also don't remember it being this bad with my first. My belly button is also still swollen and still looks bruised and I'm just over 4 weeks post surgery.
