Ogres, Khorne, and Greenskins LL Speculation - Total War: Warhammer (2024)

Khorne: Skulltaker or Arbaal

Greenskins: Morglum Necksnapper or Gorfang Rotgut

Ogres: Golgfa*g Maneater

Morglum is just a poor man's Grimgor.

Gorfang much like Kazador is a cool character but not a DLC seller.

Snagla as a Forest Goblin LL would be a far better choice.

I also would prefer Snagla, the Forest Goblins are the last major Greenskin sub faction yet to be represented.

Was working on some illustrations for a hypothetical thread regarding ToD-style DLCs needed to complete WH3. I had Khorne and Ogres down, but had to switch Tomb Kings for Greenskins now.

I'm really glad we got some communication. Any communication would have been welcome so this is good news.

I also like the look of the DLC. I honestly dont care if Legend was right or wrong (but clearly he was wrong). I'm just happy we got some communication directly from CA

Yeah that actually makes sense assuming its either Gorfang, Gorbad or Morglum and the vibe of a Khorne DLC. Go full Orc on everything with the Greenskins right now and then wait to have Snagla and Gittila in a later Goblin-focused DLC (possibly facing Li Dao with Snagla placed in Khuresh).

If its Gorfang then Borgut should be the LH. If its Snagla it should be Gitilla.

Let's talk about Start Positions!

Golgfa*g - As a former DoW character, and the face of Ogre mercenaries everywhere, he should start in the Southern Realms. Basically, give him Skrag's start position, then move Skrag somewhere else.

Gorfang - Obviously starts in Black Crag. Which means Wurrzag can be moved to the Southlands where he belongs.

Arbaal - Could start anywhere. But with Golgfa*g and Gorefang already starting very close together, if CA wants these 3 to go head-to-head, I could see Arbaal getting Skarbrand's SP and Skarbrand getting moved somewhere else.

Skulltaker - Should start in the Southern Wastes. All of the Lesser Daemon LLs should start in the Southern Wastes.

Yeah Gorfang in Black Grag seems like a given. If its Snagla then either Khuresh (map expansion) or Black Pit. I'm fine either way.

Arbaal should start in Ind together with Dechala considering his ET Lore.

Golgfa*g should be moved to the BP with Skrag getting moved to the northern MoM.
